Creating a convincing video idea

During a first meeting, we discuss your needs and expectations, as well as your temporal and financial possibilities. We will either work with your existing video idea or develop an individual idea together. Building on that, we will create a video concept tailored to your requirements and fitted to your desired style.

Pre-production:
Planning, planning, planning

The pre-production covers all preparatory work before the shooting can begin. This includes time and budget planning, location scouting, and booking of cast and crew if necessary. A detailed planning stage serves as a basis for a successful production.

The filming can begin

During the actual production, we will shoot all necessary audiovisual material, be it interviews, live-acting, product footage, or atmospheric shots.

Post-production:
Adding the final touches

The post-production begins with the editing of your video on both the visual and sound level. Color correction as well as graphics and animations add a unique look to your video. Sound design and effects will make your video feel more authentic while the right music, licensed to your needs, will provide the video with a distinct rhythm.

About me

I’m Paulina, a freelance filmmaker. Since childhood, I have been engaging with film and video production, a passion that is far from losing its appeal to me. Over the course of time, I have worked with a wide variety of subjects and formats, from student short films to full-length feature films, from documentary to fiction. This experience has taught me the specific requirements of each media format, but also provided me with the insight that all productions build on a common ground: A thorough preparation and planning stage makes the following steps a lot easier but can never prevent the unforeseen to happen, which gives room to creativity and spontaneity. By working in different areas, such as camera, production, directing, or lighting, I’m used to not only focus on my own work but also to understand and respect the needs of other players. Seeing the bigger picture yet not losing the eye for details is a challenge I find particularly engaging.

With a background in media and communication studies as well as media management, I base my work on scientific knowledge. I combine my understanding of media communication with my expertise in stylistic and technical aspects of filmmaking. Getting across a message in an effective and target group-oriented way is just as important to my as creating an aesthetically good-looking audiovisual piece.

With my open-minded attitude and desire to learn, I’m always open to discover something new, be it places, people, or projects.
